Expanding on over ten years of training and experience as a Somatic Sex Educator and Embodiment Therapist through the Institute of Somatic Sexology in Brisbane, I am presently a clinical trainee of Psychoanalytical Psychotherapy in the Conversational Model (CM) through the Australian & New Zealand Association of Psychotherapy (ANZAP) and am a Clinical Supervisor and Mentor for SSEAA.

“Cyd Crossman is one of a small and highly influential group of women investigating the intersection of love, sexuality, and self-awareness.

A respected, grounded, and authentic practitioner, Cyd’s work focuses on developing a more respectful, compassionate, and truthful relationship with ourselves, as an essential requirement of a more just, equitable, and enlightened human society.”

Cameron Burgess, Uncompromise

The Conversational Model (CM) was specifically designed for people who have experienced complex trauma, but it is effective for many types of people and difficulties. It is worth mentioning that training in CM is notably different to psychology courses and most other psychotherapy courses currently on offer because it requires the delivery of 150 hours of face-to-face psychotherapy practice with people who have experienced trauma, while engaging in weekly and twice weekly intensive clinical supervision with expert supervisors.

This intensive ‘hands-on’ training alongside more than ten years of experience as a Somatic Sex Educator and Embodiment Therapist provides me with a unique skillset combining the Body and Mind.
